The Japanese took! refuge m the mission premises. French and Japanese troops have been despatched to bring m their countrymen.
The Japanese are protecting all foreigners at Shanhaikwan. Several parties of mutineers who returned to Peking "were arrested and .executed.
Two thousand troops revolted and looted Kiukang. The Republicans triumphed at Wei-hai-wei, driving the recalcitrants southwest, and killing 1000. The Republican, delegate, assert, the Republic "was inaugurated' a*fc Nanking, but the Cabinet was formed at Peking. Yuan Shih Kai, President, will proceed to Nanking m September.
ST. PETERSBURG, March 6. Adviceß from Ruldja report that the Manchu troops mutinied, murdering the officials.-.
