HOOD—FRASER.
The site of Mr Thomas Fraser's homestead at Pouawa was the scene of a pretty wedding to-day, when Miss Mary Eraser, the third daughter, Avas married to Mr Clifford Hood,, lately of 'Whangara, and now of TooAvoomba, Queensland.- The ceremony was performed m a Erettily-decorated marquee on the lawn v the Rev. Wm. Grant. 'The bride looked charming m a rich gown of white charmeuse satin, Avith the corkage elaborately trimmed with silk embroidery. She also wore.the customary"' wreath and veil. The bride Avas attended by her sister, Miss Nellie Fraser, who was prettily attired m maize-color- j ed silk. Mr A. Uphan, of England, attended the bridegroom. A very large number of guests Avere present at the ceremony, and were subsequently entertained most hospitably by the bride's parents. Both bride and groom Avere the recipients of many presents. They leave by' the Wimmera to-night, en route for their' future home m Queensland. The bride's travelling dress was a plaid costume,, with hat to match.
