Dr Wilson, of Palmerston North, m a letter to the Manawatu Standard, denies the report that he intends shortly to enter a private hospital to be operated on for appendicitis, adding : "In the face of the fact' that I am not m the habit. of urging my patients to be operated on fov an attack of colic, it is not likely that 1 will myself submit to a similar treatment, however fashionable it may be."
