MR. MAcDONALD AT MATAWAI.
(Special to the Herald.) MATAWAI, this clay. Mr W. D. S. MacDonald, M.P., odi dressed a meeting of. electors at Matawai last night, and was given a splendid hearing. His speech was much on the same lines of those previously given. The chair was occupied by Mr J.' B^ Clark. At the conclusion of the speech, Mr Devery moved, arid Mr Hickey seconded, . a vote of thank and confidence, which was carried with warm applause, y Mr MacDonald speaks at Rakauroa to-night.
