NORTH SEA STORM.
({REAT LOSS OF LIFE. (Press' Afish'. — By Telegraph. — Copyright.) (Received October 13, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, October 12. Fourteen Yarmouth fishermen perished in the gale. The steamer Eastern Counties capsized in the Humber. Four persons were drowned, and eleven others had a remarkable escapeANTWERP, October 4. Two hundred and forty lives are known, to have been lost as the result of the disasters to the coasting craft during the late gale in the North Sea. AMSTERDAM:, October 4. Saturday's storm over the North Sea has been responsible for a great sacrifice of life in Zeeland and other provinces. Of 130 mussel-fishing boats belonging to the village of Bruinisse, 120 have been either lost or damaged. Forty-five vessels wero wrecked in the waterways between Dordrecht, on the Meuse, and the sea.
