JAPANESE ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION
♦ (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Tho Japanese Antarctic exploration party are to-day taking m additional provisions. The oldest member of the expedition is 44 years of age, and the youngest 25. Lieut. Shirase, who spent two years m Siberia before fitting out the expedition, is 43 years of age.
