THE DOMINION'S EXPORT.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The value of the principal articles of export from the -Dominion for the month of January was £3,026,016, as compared with £2,845,421 for the' corresponding month last year, the . increase being £180,595. For the twelve months ending January last the total value of the principal exports was £20,7*44,130, as compared with £19,238,830 for the 12 months ending January, 191Q, an increase of £1,505,299. The following re turn shows the value of the principal articles exported last month : — Butter, £354,934; cheese, £237,835; beef (frozen), £30,674; mutton (frozen), carcases, £109,432 ; mutton (frozen), legs and pieces, £6319; lamb (frozen,) £178,767; wheat, £693; oats, £342; potatoes. £249; hemp, £49,229; rabbits, £4694; tow, £4194; kauri gum, £28,087; grain and pulse other than wheat or oats, £2438; hops, £398; hides, £12,185; skins of all kinds, £65,482; tallow, £55,936; timber, £2376; wool, £1,665,---269; gold, £195,783.
