LORD KITCHENER'S VISIT.
(Per Press Association.)* WELLINGTON, last night. Tlie defence forces of the Wellington district are to be mobilised at .Johnsonville for •lns-pection by Lord.- Kitchener. Subject to the ■ necessary permission being obtained,, the site chosen is near the railway station, convenient for troops arriving and leaving. It is expected that about 4000 men W.ll be under* -canvas. : -This number- includes- a contingent of- 800 men from' the West Co'ast and Nelson, who made special application for permission to take part in the n)Riiocuvres.
