It is the dinner of the Optimists' Club, tho motto of which is : "The optimist sees tho doughnut., tho poss'iinist sees the hole."; It was derided to. estitblish April 1 as the fetival day of the club. 1 Nearly 700 men ftn'd; women took part in the affair. ,
