It has been facetiously suggested tliat tlie time is ripe for the promulgation of an "anti-flicker" -campaign in Christchurch, in view of the' .strong hold living picture entertainments have obtained upon the piiiblic. On Saturday night it is estimated that more than 5500 people patronised cinematograph exhibitions at the three .halls devoted to that purpose. .' T ' --'' ■
