Messrs H. B. James and H. C. Stevens, two Victorian motorists, have broken the world's record for 24 hours' non-stop run. In May last year Messrs Kellow and H. B. James established a world's record, and incidentally an Australasian one, of 536 miles for a 24 hours' run, m a low-powered car. A month latea" their record was 'broken by an American, S. D. Waldron, vrho covered 606 miles m 24 hours. Last week James and Stevens completed a run* of 778 miles m 24 hours, through western district roads, Bnishing at Qamperdown.
