At a meeting of the Otagp University Council yesterday, the questibn of a proposed ;vetmnary7 school came up for discussion., a letter .being received from Mr Clifton, Chief Inspector of Stock, asking whein. the school would be; established. Mr Jas. Allen, .vioe-Chanoellor, said that dfuring the repent session be> and Mr Sidey had a 1 : number of interviews with the Hon. R. McNab pn the subject. After consultation -with, the Minister, they had come, /to the conclusion that an abridged course of training suitable for stock and dairy inspectors should be tried. These negotiations were, still going on.
