FATALITY AT WELLINGTON.

(Per Press Association.) , WELLINGTON, last night A serious accident occurred on the Brooklyn section of the city tramways thia evening, re_ulting m the death of Mrs Bell, Jof Murchison, and the infliction of injjurieis on her husband, Mr Thos. Bell, the motorman, John' Rae, and the conductor, j Arthur Peftins. The Brooklyn line lejives Upper Willis street at the foot of Niltkn street, und proceeds over a sharp incline to the suburban area on the hill-top southward of the city. While descending this incline, one of the new palace cars! left the tract at a point near the Nairn street plantation, and after travelling About 16 yard., the under-car-riage was tipped off, and the car toppled over an enibankment, which at this point is about BJft m Mrs Bell is supnosed froni the nature of her injuries to have been killed ootrightj but it was over an hot. before her body could be taken from undei* the car. which is of great weight, and could only be shifted by the use of powerful jacks. Her husband was slightly injured, and was removed to a neighboring house. Rae and Perkins were taken to the hospital, suffering from cuts and contusions.
