SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
The Union Company's s.s. Mararoa (Captain Smith) arrived from South early this morning, aud left for Auckland at 9 o'clock. Passengers: — Inward — Misses dive, Crowley, Brooke-Taylor, Simson, Renouf, Beal/ Hodge, Thompson, and Smith; Mesdames Carter, Thompson and child, Mathers, McWilliums, and Bott ; Messrs Neale, Cussack, Collinge, Maher, Goldingham, Begg, Heale, Reuouf, York (2), Hunter, Smith, Skinner, Cairns, Daultou, Bishop, Greaves, Carmody, Bott and Duncan,. Outward — Misses McNab and Hamiil ; Mrs Yon der Hyde ; Messrs Coy and O'Keefe. The Union Company's s.s. Herald left for Coast ports and Auckland at 1 p.m. to-day. Passengers; — Mrs Wilson and Mr Allen. . * The s.s. Weka arrves from Napier on Monday morning. The Mararoa tranships at Auckland to the Talune for Sydney on Monday, and the Mararoa returns South, passing through here next Wednesday. The South African Steamship Company advise Messrs Williams and Kettle, their local agents, that the' Suffolk leaves Lyttelton on Saturday, Timaru on Monday and will * probably leave Wellington on the 9th inst. for Durban. The Dorset will be the next steamer on the berth. Messrs Common, Shelton and Co., as agents for the Shaw-Savill steamers, supply us with, the following statement of the approximate movements of the company's fleet :— Delphic sails from Wellington on September 17 ; Gothic due at Wellington September . 13, from where she will sail for London on. October 13 ; Waiwera loading at Southern, ports, sails for Wellington on. October 22 ; lonic, ,at Wellington, sails oni November 12 ; Atlienic left London August 27, due at Wellington October 11; Aotea at Napier, sails for London December 24; Karamea left London. August 15 for Auckland, and > Wellington, due October 1;/ Rangatira left London August 3 for Port Chalmers, due October 24 ; Kumara leaves London September 24; Maori arrived London August 16, sails September 30; Pakeli.i due London, September 2, sails again October 31 ; Tokomaru due London September 26, sails October 22; Corintliic due London, October 7, sails again November 19 ; Matatua, new twin-screw steamer, building.
