The election committee room of Mr Horace Phmkett, one of the candidates, was wrecked, and a supporter fatally stabbed. Arthur Lynch, ex-Colonel of the Boer forces, another candidate, conducts his campaign, from Paris, fearing arrest if he returns to Ireland.
