SENSATIONAL SHOOTING.

At the close of a performance at Her Majesty's Theatre last night, a young man entered the bar adjoining the dress circle and fired three shots from a revolver at Miss Jenkins, the barmaid. Two of the shots took effect seriously. The third shot struck a second girl. A riot of a dangerous nature ensued, but the assailant of the girl escaped. A man named John Beal has been arrested on a charge of shooting at the barmaid Jenkins. _ >'. The cause of the outbreak is attributed to jealousy.
