At the Town Hall demonstration the Premier announced that, after providing £114,000, the cost of the Federal celebrations, and other extra expenditure, the revenue of the State would cover the . expenditure proper of the year. In the House of Representatives, the supply passed all its stages without further amendments. * •' A Post and Telegraph Bill was introduced. During the debate the speeches chiefly dealt with, the question of sweeps, against which, the- Bill proposes to close the post office. ADELAIDE, June 12.
