MELBOURNE, Dec. 31. In the cricket match between Victoria and South Australia Victoria in their first innings made 76, Graham 22 being the highest score. South Australia in the first innings made 107 (Hill 46). Victoria in their second innings lost three wickets for 377 (Graham 120, McMichael 76, Armstrong 102, McAlisternot out 65. •' * . DUNEDIN, this day. The Auckland-Otago ericket match was concluded to-day, and resulted in a win for the local team by an innings and 53 runs. Rain fell during the night and throughout the morning, so that the ground and wicket were very heavy. Auckland in their second innings made 116 (Lusk 0, Elliot 7, Restieux 3, Mills 0. Stemson 28, Hay 2, Ohlsen 6, N. Lusk 0, Marshall 14, Stepheris 14, W. Mills not out 42, extras 6). Downes took five wickets for 72, Fisher four for 37. Auckland's first innings score was 55, and Otago made 220, the chief scorers being Austin 50, Mills 30, Geddes 28.
