FREE STATE ANNEXATION.
(Received Nov. 7, 9.10 a.m.) Durban, Nov. 6. The Free State has proclaimed its annexation of the upper Tugela division of Natal. • LETTERS OP MARQUE. London, Nov. 6. There are persistent reports that the Transvaal Government has issued letters of marque in Europe and America. British cruisers are keeping a vigilant look-out at Lat Palmas, Canary Islands. COMMANDANT KOCH'S DEATH. Durban, Nov. 6. The British are arranging to deliver Commandant Kooh's body to the Boers for removal to Pretoria. MORE TROOPS London, Nov. 6. The troopships Kildoman Castle and Briton have left Southampton together with 4000 troops.
