Prince George of Crete visited a number of Christian churches and Mahommedan mosques in the principal towns of the island. The visits were made amid indescribable enthusiasm of the populace. Christian women and children .scattered flowers and perfumes along his path. Jhe Moslems appear quite reconciled to the new order of affairs.
