With reference to Rougemont's statements, MrTietkens says it was impossible for Rougemont to reach tho interior of Australia on foot and alone. It was highly improbable that Gibsun traversed the desert from the place where he was lost to the place where Rougemont alleged he found him. Mr Lyne has altered the date of his censure motion to Wednesday, i\i order not to interfere witli private members' day on Tuesday. (Received Sept. 30, 8.54 a.m.) Sept. 30.— The Legislative Assembly had an all night sitting discussing the Federal resolutions. BRISBANE, Ski-t. 29. Mr Wraggo predicts heavy weather in Tasman Sea oetween Gabo Island and the Snares and Cook Straits. At Mr Byrnes' funeral tho cortege took an hour and a-half passing a given point. The Governor and Sir William McGregor wero among those present. Business was suspended all day. Sept. 30.— The names of Mr Dickson, acting Premier, and Mr Pbilp, Minister of Mines, are mentioned in connection with the Premiership. ADELAIDE, Sept. 30. The Governor and family have sailed for England on six months' leave.
