THE SOUDAN CAMPAIGN.

Cairo, June 8. The Mixed Tribunal has ordered the Government to replace the advance made by the Caiase de la Detto towards the expenses of the Soudan expedition with interest and cosls. The French and Russian members of the Caisse de In Dette are directed to execute judgment. June 9. — Sir H. Kitchener, commanding the forces, reports that in tho recent engagement at Ferkeh the Egyptian allies behaved splendidly. Four hundred and fifty prisoners were taken, and several of the Khalifa's officers weie killed.

King Menelik, ruler of Abyssinia, has informed the Khalifa that although they havo religious differences their interests are identical, and he asserts ho is prepared to assist the Khalifa.

It is suspected that the French and Russian agents arc prompting Menelik.
