THE EGYPTIAN LOSS LIGHT. Cairo, June 8;. fSjjl Egyptian troops defeated the Dervishes at Perkeh Hills. The engagement was brisk, as the Der« vishes offered a stubborn resistance for three' ■ hours, till the mounted'infantry turned the position and prevented retreat. One thousand of the enemy were killed, while the Egyptian loss was only sixtyCamels, horses, provisions, and many prisoners were captured. In order to complete the rout the cavalry - are pursuing the scattered remnants of the Khalifa's forces. Among those killed at Ferkeh was tho Dervish commander,
