John Ramsay, aged 74, residingat Kaikorai Valley, dropped dead last night, it is supposed of apoplexy.

Wellington, Saturday.

Constable Cooper, of.Pahiatua, telegraphed to Inspector Thomson yesterday that a single man named Thomas Scott, a carpenter, was seized with a fit that day and died an hour afterwards. . To-day.— A girl named Annie Sullivan, 13 years of age, died* in the hospital from the effects of burns, sustained through her clothes catching fire. Woodvillb, to-day.

A boy aged' 20 months, the child of '-Mr Scott, carpenter, died to-day from the effects of sucking hot tea from the spout of a teapot.
