The Late Jewellery Robbery.
(Per Press Association) Wellington, to-day. The manager of the Goldsmiths' Hall Company, which was robbed on Friday evening, has informed the Inspector of Police that the first estimate of the missing jewellery was greatly exaggerated, and close inspection showed the loss does not exceed £500, and he added that when stock is taken the lesser amount may still be reduced.
