The Paremata Block.

Wellington, Saturday. — In the Banco Court to-day before Judge Richmond, a motion was made m the case entitled Tamarira v. the Native Lands Settlement Company, an action affecting the title to a large block of land on the Easb Coast known as Faretnata. Mr Hutchinson and Mr Gully, on behalf of the Company, applied to the Court to dissolve the restraining order granted by the Chief Justice, preventing the issue of the certificate of title to the Company. After some argument the matter was adjourned sine die, and the case will probably be carried to the Court of Appeal. Mr Chapman appeared for the Natives.
