In the House of Commons, Mr Gladstone's motion to devote the whole time of the autumn session to Government business was carried by the aid of the closure, but not until some important modifications wero attached. Several sections of Government supporters are much incensed at their chains and measures being ignored. The Irish members are angry at the Bill dealing with evicted tenants being postponed until next year - ——————
