Wool Sales.

1 London, Sept. 27. At the wool sales faulty sorts were slow of sale. The Cheviot Hills consignment excited good competition, the hest quality realising Bd. The following is the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company's London wool report, dated Sept. 28 : — Wool : The sales progress firmly. Since opening of sales scoured merino, superior greasy merino, medium and inferior, fine, medium, and coarse greasy crossbred, and greasy croßsbrcd lambs are par and £d per lb lower ; other descriptions unchanged. The attendance of both Home and foreign buyers is pood. The total quantity catalogued to date is 163,000 bales, of which 15,000 have been withdrawn.
