At Hawke's Bay Steeplechase Meeting, r.ms cond, lOst slb, in Welter Handicap, 1J miles, to Couranto, list 71b, beating Norton, list 61b, Lenore, Link, Waterbury, and nine others, io the good time of 2tnin I9sec. It will be at en from the above that Hukatere has, at welter weights, beaten Couranto, Somnambuiist, Norton, i.ink, Waterbury, and other fist-class po<foriners at long distances. BILLINGSGATE is a dark bay horse, with black points, standing about 1G hands 1 inch, with plenty of bone and substance. He was bred by the Into W.
