SUBSCRIP I IONS TO PAY OFF THE CHURCH DEBTS. [Per Press Association.] Nai'lEk, to-day The Rev. J. Hobbs, formerly of Dunediu, incumbent of St. Matthews English Church, Hastings, some time back appealed to the congregation to pay off the church debts, and appointed yesterday for a special offertory. The amount required was LllsO, and the offertories amounted to LJ.230. There was one cheque for LSOO and two for LIOO in the collections.
