At present it is doubtful whether ! the Auckland Ammunition Company' 3 match will come off, as the Company has intimated a desire to give their prize money (£35) in ammunition instead of cash. It is understood that at the annual meeting a proposal j •will be made to change the conditions en i which ties in the prize list are worked. Now \ ties are decided on range tovals, the value of hits or shots iv the rivcrse order, and the \ proposal is that ties should divide the money ■ when the value of the prize exceeds £1.
