INVERCARGILL, To-day. The Southern Cross Masonic Lodge, N.Z.C., passed a resolution urging Lord Onslow to permit himself to be nominated Grand Master. GREYMOUTH, To-day. Prospecting operations at Blackball coal lease yesterday resulted in striking a coal seam. It is good coal, and it dips out, so that it can be worked at the level free of drainage, entailing no cost. It ia a large field.
