THE KAKANUI.
Wellington, to day. In order to sot at rest all doubt rospecting the fato of the steamer Kakanui, the > Government have decided to send the ITinemoa to make a furtlier search of all < islands south of Stewart Island, where theve is a likelihood of the Kakanui being found. The Hinemoa will leavo on Thursday night, and again visit the Macquarries, i Auckland, and Campbell Islands, us well i sis the Antipodes and Bounty Islands.
