MARITIME DISPUTE.

THE P. AND O. CO. REPUDIATE SHIPPING FEDERATION. London, Feb. 21. Twenty thousand coal miners have gone out on strike in sympathy with the tenants evicted from the Silksworth estate of the Marquis of Londonderry. A. Wilson, Secretary of the Seamen's Union, who was arrested on a charge of inciting to riot, has been committed for trial. The Shipping Federation ticket gives preference to free laborers. The Federated Unions intend to block tha Orient Company's steamer on Monday owing to the Company insisting on an obnoxious federation agreement. The P. and O. Company undertake to repudiate the Federation, and other secessions are expected.
