Wellington, to-day. ; The action brought by Mr George Fisher, M.H.R., against Mrs Moss for molesting him in the street was heard this morning. Tho defence was that Fisher really owed defendant money, but he postively denied this, and ch,!\llon,god her tq mie huh' The Resident Magistrate said ho was net heaving a. case of debt. If the money was owing, defendant could sue. He refused to pevm.it any evidonco o£ alleged debt to be given, 'md, bound Mrs Moss over to keep the peaoe, in one surety of Ll(l, or in clofanlf' ono month's iimprisonment. NoHoo of appeal was given. George Fisher, M.H.K., wns proceeded against in the Police Court this morning to find sureties to keep the peace for calling Tom Carter "a sycophant and the biggest liekspittlo whoever came to the colony."
