"VI OTICE is hereby given that this Council *■ will proceed by Special Order on SATURDAY, 28th December, 1889, to constitute the Waikohu Road District a and the Ormond Road District a Special Rating District for the purposes of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886. The reason for this constitution is that the Council proposes to raise a Loan in terms of the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 18SG, for the purpose of erecting a Cart Bridge across the Waipaoa River at Kaiteratahi. The sum proposed to be borrowed, is C 4300. The cost of raising the Loan and the interest for one year during the construction of the Bridge shall be paid out of the Loan. The amount to be provided annually is £225. It is proposed to pledge as security for the Loan a Special Rate of One-Sixth of a Penny in the Pound on all rateable property in the Waikohu and Ormond Road Districts for a period of 26 years.
