[Per Press Association— Copyright.] SYDNEY, Mail 29. The Colonial Sugar Company expect to notify a further rise in sugar within a week. A criminal outrage has been committed in the Bulli coal mine. Tho doors in the galleries were jammed open, so that the air was diverted and explosive gas allowed to accumulate. It was discovered in time to prevent the night shift entering tho mine. A young man named Jeffrey accidentally shot his sister, and finding she was likely to lose her life committed suicide. The judicial referee in mining disputes has resigned. A recent case went against the men, and tho latter immediately expressed dissatisfaction at the result. The whole proceedings clearly prove that arbitration is a farce so far as miners are concerned.
