At the Supreme Court, Cromie, for larceny, was acquitted. Dale, for stealing from the person, was sentenced to 2 years. In the Divorce Court a decree ni3i was granted in SherHan v. Sheridan and Johnston. The husband was the petitioner on the grounds of adultery. The co-respondent is a youth of 17. HOKITIKA, To-day. A crowded public meeting last night passed a resolution against the deviation of the Grey-Hokitika railway desired by Mr Scddon, protested against this interference, and urged the Government not to allow any further interference.
