FATALITIES AND ACCIDENTS
♦ Mastkrtox, to-day. A youth named John Mawhinry reached the hospital at midnight suffering from concussion of the brain and a fracture of both thighs and one leg below the knee. Tho accident occurred while felling bush, Chkistchi'Kch, to-day. A man was found dead in tho Domain this morning. A pawn ticket in his pocket was made out as T. Allen. An empty braudy bottle was by his side, and he had carpenter's tools with him. Marxon, to-day. f JA man named McSweeney was killed on the road between Bull's and Turakina yeaterday by the capsizing of a dray.
