NATIVE LANDS COURT.
At the opening of the Court; this morning, the casteß set down for hearing — the Pouangarehu and Manukawhitikitiki — were called on. In the former casa there seemed to be a dispute between Maraea Morris and Wi Pore about a line. The Judge with great leniency heard what they had to aay, but significantly added that if they came into Court to dispute in that manner he should dismiss the case altogether. Mr. Reea endeavored to throw oil on the troubled waters, and an adjournment of this case was agreed to until 2 p.m. In the Manukawhitikitiki case, the Court said the subdivision could nob on unless a majority of the owners were present or duly represented in writing, as two of the parties had died, one leaving issue — infants. Tiie application was not gone into ; adjourned to Weduesday.
