There was a large attendance at To Kapu last night ;Mr. Elliot io the chair. Mr. McDonald carried the au&leuce with him. Mr. Fletcher moved and Mr. Stead Boconded a vote of confidence, which was carried by 22 ; only threu hands for thanks.

Mr. McDonald held a meeting last night at Frasertown. There was a scanty attendance owing to tlio miserable weather. He received a vote of thanks.
