HANDICAP HURDLE RACE, £40, of 2 miles ; over 8 flights of hurdles, 3ft. 6in. ; top weight not to exceed 11 atone ; nomination, £2 ; acceptance, £2. To stirt at 12.30 p m. % HACK HURDLKS, £10 ; 1 mile ; 10 stone ; for all horses not trained for tho November meeting ; post entry £1. To start at 1.30 p.m. 3. MAIDEN PLATE. £20 ; 1$ milw weight for ajje, 2 yours old and upwards ; for all horses that have never won an advertised flat race exceeding £20 nett ; entrance, £2 10s. To start at 2. 15 p. in. 4. BOXING DAY HANDICAP, £60 ; 2 miles ; top weight not to exceed 10 stone ; nomination, £2 ; acceptance, £3. To start at 3 p.m. 5. DISTRICT STAKES HANDICAP, £20 ; 1] miles ; top weight 9st Bibs ; for all horses bred in the the District County of Conk ; nomination, £1 ; acceptance £1 10s. To start at 3.45 p.m. 6. LADIES PURSE, £26 ; 1* miles ; welter weight for age ; 11 stone 2 lbs top ; gentlemen riders, members of the Club only ; entrance, £3. To start at 4.30 p.m. 7. HACK FLAT RACE, £10 ; 1 mile ; for all horses that have nover won an advertised race ; post entry, £1. To start at 5 p m. 8. CONSOLATION HANDICAP, of £10 ; 1 mile ; for all beaten horses at this meeting ; hacks excepted ; 10 stone top ; entrance, £1 on the ground. CONDITIONS. The Auckland Ji ckey Club Rules will be strictly adhered to, unless where otherwise specified. Qualification to non-members, £1 Is. Members will not be allowed to nominate horses the property of non-mem-bers, except by paying £1 Is for each horse, hacks excepted Three horses to start for each race, or only half the stake* will be paid. Any jockey riding except in colors entered and proper jockey costume (except hacks), will be fined £2 ; and this rule will be strictly enforced. Any person entering a protest shall deposit the sum of £3 with the Stewards, and such protest proving frivolous the amount shall be forfeited to the Club. All protests must bo entered within 15 minutes after the race, or the Stewards will not entertain it. No entry shall be received except on the conditions, viz : that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards or Members of tho Committee whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final. Nominations for the Handicap Hurdles, Boxing Day Handicap, and District Stakes Handicap must be sent (sealed) to the Secretary, and directed to the Masonic Hotel, Gisborne, not later than 8.30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26th, 1881, enclosing entrance foe and qualification, name, age and color of horse. No entry will be received after that time unles* by p«st letter (registered), or telegram bearing that or previous date. Acceptances for Hurdles Handicap, Boxing Day Handicap, and District Stakes Handicap (enclosing colors) on night of general entry at the Masonic Hotel, Gisborne, on Saturday, the 17th December, at 8.30 p.m. The stakes will be paid, less 5 per cent, commission nt the Waerenifa-a-hika Hotel, on Wednesday, Dec. 28th, at 8 p.m. For any match run on the course £2 2s must be contributed to Race Fund.
