This Day. Thomas Spurgeon, son of the wellknown preacher, aud the Hon. Thos. Dick, Colonial Treasurer, were passengers by the Rotomahana from Melbourne yesterday.
A boy named McGuarrie, 8 years old, was drowned off the Bluff Wharf last evening. He was in company of several lads about the same age, but they were unable to save him.
