[By Telegraph.] — ♦ House of Representatives. The Council met yesterday at 2.30. The Disqualification Committee brought up their report, affirming that Taiaroa was disqualified. The report was ordered to be considered on Thursday. On the motion of Mr. Waterhouse a resolution was carried expressing the opinion of the Council that the Harbor Board should be required to refund the £40,000 of its Land Fund illegally expended, failing which members of the Board be proceeded against individually for the recovery of the money. The Council adjourned at 5.30.
