HUDSON SURPRISE PARTY.
There was a good hall last night to a very excellent and most varied entertainment. There were roars of laughter throughout the evening. The singing was exceptionally good, and the comic dancing just irresistible. The man who had never laughed before m his life must have laughed last night, had he < been present. The entertainment would amuse the deaf, for if they could not hear there is enough of comic pantomime to keep them on the stretch. The blind if they could not see would find abundance of what is attractive to entertain thara m song, instrumentation, and droll dialogue. The Company play this evening with an entire change of programme, which will include all the latest novelties, and innovations of the day. It is beyond doubt the best troupe which has ever appeared m Gisborne, or possibly may ever appear again. Tomorrow will be the last of the Hudson's m Gisborne. On Monday they play at Ormond.
