(Before Judge Kenny.)

In the District Court to-day the following bankruptcy business was disposed of :— Be E. V. Luttrell. Mr. E. ff. Ward, senr., appeared to oppose for a creditor, but a majority of creditors,three fourths in number and amount, being in favor of the bankrupt receiving his final order of discharge, the application was granted. Be Matthew Hall. This was an application for the completion of (execution of a deed of arrangement. Mr. E. ff. Ward, senr. for the debtor. The provisions of the Act having been complied with, and there being no opposition, application was granted. Be James Robinson. In consequence of an informality, the hearing was postponed until the sitting of the next District Court ; but ] a ter in the day, upon the application of Mr E. ff. Ward, senr., and seeing there was no opposition, it was agreed that a fresh application snould be lodged before His Honor left the Bay. Be C. W. Davis. Application for final order of discharge granted. Mr. Cuff, solicitor for the bankrupt. CIVIL SIDE. The case of W. H. TucVer as assignee f>r certain natives v. Captain Read's Trustees, for the recovery of money for the purchase of certain land, in the Matawhero No. 1 Block, to which the defendants pleaded the Statute of Limitations, as also other pleas. Judgment went for defendants.
