WIRE STRAINERS.
[To the Editor of the Herald.] Sir, — Can you, or any of your correspondents, inform me as to the advantages or disadvantages of having wire fences put up with small rollers left on for. the purpose of straining up the fences ? I These rollers were once great favourites. I hear rumours of their having fallen into disrepute. Will wooden rollers answer the same purpose (puriri) or must iron ones be used ? A Tenant. [Perhaps some of our readers may be able to answer the question.]
