This Day. Mr. F. Suttou is the only candidate for Napier, who has issued an address as yet ; but Mr. R. I). Maney is stated to have consented to come forward, not as supporting Sir George Grey personally, out the liberal programme contained m tiie Governor's speech. Mr. t Maney will probably have the Catholic vote, aiid perhaps also that of the publicans. He will besides be largely supported ab Meanee and at Wairoa. Mr. Buchanan is not anxious to become a candidate, but it is understood he would consent if requisitioned.
