Mr; Bees gave notice to move on 31st that Fox's contract m accepting honors, excepting through the Government for political services rendered, was ancontionstitual. Replying to Mr. Curtis, Mr. Sheehan said the Government would hot bring m a Bill to equalise licensing fees throughout the colony ; but no impediment would be put m the way ofNocal bodies altering those fees. Mr. Sheehan said m replying to Fox, that reports of his meetings with Native chiefs would be published when completed. On the motion of Mr. Williams, it was agreed that the evidence on the Mongonui and Bay of Islands Electoral Roll be laid before the House. On the motion of Mr. Sutton, it was agreed that copies of the vouchers of money 'expended m connection with Paul of Orakei's Parliament be laid before the House. ■ ':■ On the motion of Mr. Sutton, it was agreed that returns be laid before the house m connection with Native lands on railway lines at Napier and Kopua. The House adjournd at 3.30.
