This Day. W. D. Stewart is likely to be a candidate for Mr. Stout's seat. Messrs. Macassey, Keith, Ramsay, C. T. Reeves, and Fish, were also spoken of. At a meeting of subscribers to the Kaitangata Relief Fund held on Wednesday night, the report stated the total amount collected to be £ 15,000. It was decided to vest the capital m five trustees, who were appointed. The Education Board passed a resolution yesterday m favor of Bible reading m. State Schools.
